Course Overview
A level further maths provides an exciting opportunity to delve deeper into the subject, building on the foundations of A level maths and exploring advanced concepts. The course is highly recommended for any student aiming for a degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science or economics, to name just a few. You will uncover the beauty of abstract mathematical ideas and see how they underpin some of the most significant developments in science and technology. At LUSoM, all our students study both maths and further maths A levels. This means that our entire curriculum is designed for further mathematicians, and our students and staff form a community of like-minded people that share a passion for mathematics. Our expert teachers are able to offer a wide range of options so that our students can choose their areas of specialism, tailoring their studies to suit their interests and future aspirations
