Maths Power Hour

A series of five face-to-face enrichment sessions at LUSoM, designed to stretch high-ability Year 5 pupils. A fun way to learn beyond the KS2 maths curriculum!

LUSoM Easter School will run over two days, covering a variety of mathematical content to support and aid your GCSE revision.

Dates: Monday 30th & Tuesday 31st March

Time: 10:00 – 15:00

Experience sample lessons in maths, physics, chemistry or computer science, and discover what it’s like to study at LUSoM.

LUSoM Extend is a program for high achieving KS4 pupils who wish to learn beyond the curriculum. Meeting at LUSoM once a month from September till March (excluding December) for 1.5 hours, as a group you will cover material which is not on the GCSE syllabus and will learn some of the incredible uses that mathematics can have once you take it at a higher level.

LUSoM Maths Revise is a 10 week lecture program designed to aid the start of your Year 11 GCSE Maths revision. The lectures will run online each Wednesday between 4:30pm and 5:30pm from October through to December. Please ensure you are able to attend before confirming your booking.

LUSoM Science Revise is an 8 week revision programme designed to support your Year 11 Physics and Chemistry revision. The lectures will run online each Wednesday (in term time) between 16:30 and 17:30 from Wednesday 7th January till Wednesday 3rd March. Please ensure you are able to attend before confirming your booking.

LUSoM Aim Further is a 7 week revision programme for Year 11 students aiming for a grade 8 or 9 in GCSE maths and planning to take Further Maths at A-Level. The sessions will run every Wednesday for 7 weeks, from 11th March until 6th May. The sessions will take place online via Microsoft Teams.

LUSoM Secure 7 is a 7 week revision programme for Year 11 students aiming for a grade 7 in GCSE maths and at A-Level. The sessions will run every Wednesday for 7 weeks, from 11th March until 6th May. The sessions will take place online via Microsoft Teams.
