Getting to Lancaster University School of Mathematics couldn’t be easier. Our building is on London Road, just a five minute walk from Preston bus station and the city centre and within fifteen minutes’ walk from the railway station.
Help with transport costs

By Bus
If you are not familiar with the bus services operating in your area, the following websites give useful journey and travel information and alternative travel options:
The college can offer discounted travel tickets on local bus services in the area. The tickets allow travel at any time, at weekends and in the college holidays. Bus passes are purchased through Wisepay. Please follow this link to purchase a pass. Travel passes will be posted to students once purchased.
For students travelling on the Transdev Service 152/153, this will be a mobile ticket. You will be sent an email to activate your ticket. For new students, this will be to your personal email address and for current students, it will be to your college email address, you will need to download the Transdev Go app to use your ticket.
