Outreach for Students
LUSoM run an extensive and varied program of events and activities for KS3 & KS4 pupils across Lancashire. All our outreach programmes are free to join and can be face-to-face or delivered online. They are designed to support pupils interested in strengthening their understanding and ability across Maths and STEM subjects with the aim to raise their GCSE grades.
Outreach for Teachers
If you are a teacher and would like one of the LUSoM team to attend your school to meet your pupils and deliver a specialist lesson or provide information on LUSoM options, you can contact us to arrange this at any point throughout the year. We also hold taster events and competitions for schools across Lancashire – sign up to receive the information by joining our mailing list.
Outreach Activities
Outreach activities are available to all young people in the region, not just LUSoM students.

Exeter Maths School Interested me because I liked the concept of going to a school where I wasn’t odd, or weird for liking Maths. They offered all the subjects that I wanted to do and in meant that everyone there would be studying Maths, or Further Maths which was different to my Secondary School Sixth Form where about five people would be studying them. The community was very close -the teachers felt like friends and everyone was like me. It felt very supportive and Inviting - We all appreciate Maths jokes!
